Announcing Los Gringos Locos 1st Annual Big Bertha Madness

March Madness?  That’s right!  Think you got what it takes?  Choose your weapon and win $100 cash.

Think you can handle the Big Bertha?  Maybe you’ve already proven yourself worthy or maybe you know somebody that can – pass this on to them.   If so, be sure to participate in Los Gringos Locos 1^st Annual Bertha Madness.  You could win $100!

Here’s the details:

Qualifying starts now and runs through March 16.  To qualify just head on in to Los Gringos Locos and let them know you want to enter Bertha Madness.  Pay $10 and eat the Bertha.  Your $10 covers your first Bertha and ALL other Berthas you eat during the contest.  It’s actually a pretty good meal plan.

Here’s Some More Details:

1) This is a timed contest.  Head-to-head eating is not mandatory until the Championship Round.   If you want to arrange it, you can.  Try to be a good winner if you arrange for a head-to-head and don’t throw any food.  You must finish you bertha within 60 minutes of starting or you cannot qualify or advance to additional rounds.

2) The Bertha must be COMPLETELY eaten as it is served.  Nothing left on the plate.  If you don’t like sour cream, figure it out.  Don’t try the old spread it around the plate trick either, we know that one.

3) You must eat the Bertha by yourself.  No helpsies.

4) If you prove yourself worthy and actually qualify, the brackets will be arranged based on your time.

5) Once you qualify for the tournament, you must eat the bertha by the last day of that round or you will not advance.

6) The final championship will be a head to head eat off at 4pm, Thursday April 8^th.  The undercard will be first, and the championship will immediately follow.

7) Prizes: 1^st $100 cash and tons of glory,  2^nd $50 cash and a little bit of glory, 3^rd $25 cash, 4^th $25 cash.

More rules and regulations may be added as necessary to ensure a fair tournament.
