La Canada High School Summer Freshman Basketball 2010

Yesterday the La Canada High School Spartans freshman basketball team took the court for the first time. The Spartans faced Harvard Westlake at Burroughs High School. The first half was an obvious display that this was the first time the team was playing together. The second half however, was very encouraging as the Spartans started to display cohesiveness and better basketball mechanics. Harvard Westlake won by a large margin, but the Spartans should be happy with their growth in the second half, which hopefully is a glimpse of what we can expect to see throughout the rest of the summer and next school year. Great job Spartans! See you tonight.

The Spartans play again tonight in Valencia. Hart High School … we think????
